I-84 Truck Stop in Willington Evacuated After Bomb Threat
The threat came in on Monday afternoon at a busy highway truck stop, state police said.

WILLINGTON, CT — A busy truck stop along the Interstate-84 corridor in north central Connecticut was evacuated on Monday because of the bomb threat, state police said.
At about 2:45 p.m., troopers from the state police Troop C barracks in Tolland responded to the Travel Centers of America truck stop on off Exit 71 in Willington for a bomb threat.
The truck stop employees made the decision to evacuate the building with the assistance of troopers, state police said.

A state police canine unit responded to the scene and is assisting with the investigation, according to state police.
Troopers were still at the scene investigating the matter at 4:30 p.m.
