UPDATE: Injured Horse Reunited With Owner

State and local authorities are attempting to find the owner.

UPDATE, 4:08 p.m. - The injured horse found on Woodland Street in Tolland has been reunited with its owner. According to a Twitter report, a veterinarian said the horse has minor injuries and should be fine.

Tolland Animal Control, public safety officials and the Connecticut State Police are seeking the owner of an injured horse.

The animal was found wandering on Woodland Street. It appears to have an injured left hind leg.

Local residents who own horses have already been contacted.
