The fourth-annual Tolland Scarecrow Contest is about to adorn the town green.

TOLLAND, CT — It's time again for the annual scarecrow contest on the Tolland Green.

The 2023 event will mark the fourth year of the contest.

This event is designed to allow residents and businesses to express themselves "through the creative process of building your own Scarecrow display on Tolland Green."

Participants need to register by Sep 30. Click HERE for an entry form.

Set-up is scheduled to start the weekend of Sept. 30 and displays must be taken down by Oct. 21.

A contest for community members to vote on their favorite scarecrows will be included. Competition will be for first place, second place, third place as well as most creative.

Community voting on the Scarecrow displays will be conducted via the Town of Tolland website.
