Jeep Overturns In Tolland Crash

A 21-year-old Coventry resident suffered serious injuries in a single-car crash in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — A 21-year-old Coventry resident suffered serious injuries in a single-car crash in Tolland early Saturday morning, state police said.

The crash took place at 1:45 a.m. Saturday on Goose Lane near Andersen Road, state police said.

A 2011 jeep driven by Emily Mae Grenier of Coventry was headed south, crossed the center line and overturned after hitting a stump, according to a report.

She was "partially ejected" from the vehicle and taken to St. Francies Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford with suspected serious injuries, according to a report.
