Kids Chess at Tolland Public Library

Thanks to grants from the Tolland Public Library Foundation and the UConn Chess Club, Tolland students in grades 3 and up will be able to learn how to play chess throughout the school year at the Tolland Public Library.
Instruction will be provided an instructor from the UConn Chess Club; the group will meet on Tuesdays from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. through the school year. Each session will include both instruction and time to play other students. Dates for the January schedule are: January 12, 19, and 26. Students may sign up now on the library events calendar or by calling the library at 860-871-3620.
