Late Runs Push Tolland Nine Past Fermi
The Eagles improved to 7-3 with a 4-1 victory in Enfield Wednesday afternoon.
ENFIELD, CT - Matt Curtis twirled a complete game on the mound and helped himself with the bat as well, leading Tolland to a 4-1 victory over Fermi in CCC East baseball action Wednesday in Enfield.
Curtis allowed just five hits and one walk while striking out three. He also belted a double, one of four extra-base hits for the Eagles.
Tolland scored in the first inning off Fermi pitcher Brian Cunningham, watched the Falcons tie the game in the bottom of the fifth, then tallied three runs over the final two innings to cement the victory.

Nick Paasch and Tom Slane each had a pair of hits, including a double, and knocked in a run. Kyle Penney contributed a triple to the Eagles' extra-base brigade.
Tolland improved to 7-3, and gets right back on the field Thursday, hosting RHAM at 3:45 p.m.
