STORRS, CT — Rafael Majia, 27, of North Windham, was charged with first-degree forgery and sixth-degree larceny on a warrant, according to a report. The incident took place at The Hoot in Storrs, state police said.

SOMERS, CT — Gary Harding, 31, of Meriden, an inmate at a state prison, was charged with assault on a public safety officer, according to a report. He is accused of tossing excrement in a cup at a corrections officer.

Dec. 19

SOMERS, CT — Damiam Sanborn, 25, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, according to a report. He was involved in a fight at a Main Street residence, according to a report.

VERNON, CT — Jonathan Soucy, 40, of Tolland, was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence, and possession of a controlled substance, according to a report. He was caught doing 99 mph on Interstate-84 eastbound and was pulled over, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT — Bobak Jahandarie, 40, of Mansfield, was charged with risk of injury to a child after a state Department of Children and Families call to his home went unanswered, according to a warrant.

STAFFORD, CT — Robert Sylvester Ryan, 48, of Stafford, was charged with evading responsibility, drunken driving and a lane violation at 11:16 p.m on Church Street, according to a report. He hit a utility pole on Route 190, according to a report.

Dec. 21

ELLINGTON, CT — Richard Brown, 38, of Ellington, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. He was involved in a disturbance at a residence, according to a report.

ELLINGTON, CT — Ellington resident Alyssa Kibbie, 31, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. She was involved in a disturbance at a residence, according to a report.

Dec. 22

STAFFORD, CT — Michael Violette, 53, of Stafford, was charged with interfering with an emergency call, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, a report indicates. He was involved in an altercation at a home, fled the scene and was found walking along Route 140, according to a report.

ELLINGTON, CT — Carlos Flores-Ortiz, 27, of Hartford, was charged with the improper use of a marker plate, driving while under suspension, driving without insurance, evading, and drunken driving after a crash on Gulf Road at 2:15 a.m., according to a report. His car hit a guardrail and lost a tire, a report says.
