Letter To The Editor: Amazing Trip to Costa Rica

Tolland High School student Alison Farrish thanks teachers John Powell and Nancy McGrath for organizing the once-in-a-lifetime experience.

On Feb.16, 2011, fifteen Tolland High School students departed from Bradley International Airport for San Jose, Costa Rica.

The twelve-day trip was organized and chaperoned by John Powell and Nancy McGrath, two Tolland High School teachers.

The group traveled all around Costa Rica, seeing the sights and learning about Costa Rican culture and the Spanish language.

The students would like to give a big thank you to Mr. Powell and Mrs. McGrath for arranging and supervising this trip. The group is forever grateful for getting the opportunity to go on such a truly amazing trip.
