Library Children's Programs on School Half-Day

Tolland Public Library programs for Wednesday, Jan. 25th, a school-half day

Tolland Public Library will offer these after-school programs on Wednesday, January 25th, a school half-day: Make Mine a Caldecott, at 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for grades K to 3. We’ll look at 3 different award-winning illustrators who have won the Caldecott medal, and kids will make their own picture in the style of one of the artists. Sign up requested. Location: Conference Room A.

Reading Therapy Dog Dolly, at 3:30 to 5 p.m. for grades K and up. Reading therapy dog Dolly and her owner Julie will at at the library to give beginning readers a chance to practice their read-aloud skills; children may be signed up for a 15-minute session with the dog.
