Local preschool to host Open House for 2015-2016 school year

The Tolland Cooperative Preschool will be holding an Open House for new families on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

TOLLAND, CT– The Tolland Cooperative Preschool will be holding an Open House for new families interested in learning about our programs on Tuesday, Jan. 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the school, which is located at 45 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT (behind the United Congregational Church of Tolland). The snow date for the Open House is Jan. 21.

Prospective families can meet the teacher, Lynn Joy, learn more about the programs offered and register their child for the Fall 2015-2016 school year. Parents of current students will also be on hand to answer questions.

The Tolland Cooperative Preschool offers: a two-day program for children turning 3 by 12/31/15; a three-day program for children turning 4 by 12/31/15; and a unique four–day program for 5-year-olds who are not yet ready for kindergarten. About Tolland Cooperative Preschool
Our mission at Tolland Cooperative Preschool is for parents and an early childhood educator to provide a quality, developmentally appropriate learning experience for children in a program that focuses on learning through play, active exploration of the environment, and interactions with peers and adults in preparation for future education. Tolland Cooperative Preschool is self-governing, non-profit, and non-sectarian. The program is organized and administered by the parent members; parents or guardians of each child enrolled in the school. As a cooperative, the preschool offers parents the opportunity to participate in their child’s early education.
