Man Banned from Big Y Arrested at Tolland Big Y

TOLLAND, CT — A Manchester man who had been permanently banned Big Y was arrested last week for a shoplifting incident at the Tolland supermarket, state police said.

The incident involving 23-year-old Steven McKee took place 4:46 p.m. on April 17 when staff members told state police they had observed McKee stealing $61.95 worth of energy drinks at the Fieldstone Commons store, according to an arrest report.

McKee had a no trespassing order against him for Big Y, state police said.

McKee was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny, according to an arrest report. He is due in court on May 1, state police said.
