Man Charged After 100 MPH Incident on I-84
State police said they received several emergency calls about the man.

TOLLAND, CT — A South Windsor man is facing criminal charges for allegedly speeding recklessly on a highway through Vernon and Tolland at better than 100 mph while intoxicated, state police said.
At 10:14 a.m. on Saturday, the state police Troop C barracks in Tolland received several 911 calls about an erratic driver traveling eastbound through Vernon and Tolland.
A trooper tracked him down near Exit 70 in Willington after clocking the vehicle at between 100 and 105 mph, according to an arrest report.

The driver, identified as 31-year-old Angel Letorre of Speilman Road, South Windsor, was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence and a lane violation, according to an arrest report.
He posted a $10,000 bond and is slated to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Feb. 14, state police said.
