Man Charged With DUI After Swerving into Liquor Store Parking Lot in Tolland: Report
Vernon police assisted in the case.

TOLLAND, CT — State and Vernon police intercepted a suspected drunken driver after receiving a 911 call about him driving erratically, an arrest report indicates.
Primitivo Ramirez-Guttierez, 29, of West Center Street, Southington, was charged with driving under the influence and two motor vehicle paperwork violations at 6:02 p.m. on Sunday, state police said.
A 911 caller reporting him driving erratically and pulling into liquor store on Hartford Turnpike. A Vernon officer saw him try to back out, stopped at the store and state police arrived two minutes later, according to an arrest report.

The eyes of Guttierez were bloodshot and he failed field sobriety tests, state police said.
