Man Charged for 'Kill' Threats on Facebook
The man made the threats against a Tolland business, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — Social Media posts that made violent threats against a Tolland medical dispatch company have landed a former employee with serious criminal charges, state police said.
Matthew Smith, 35, of 90 Furnace Ave., Stafford, was arrested on Thursday and was to appear in court Friday, state police said. He has been charged with first-degree threatening, first-degree harassment and second-degree breach of peace, according to an arrest report.
A $50,000 bond was placed on his case, records show.

The threats were made against Connecticut Medial Dispatch, an answering service call center located at 40 Tolland Stage Road, state police said.
State police said in an arrest warrant that, on Thursday, Smith made public Facebook posts that said, "I have have so many people to kill tomorrow, I hope I can sleep tonight."

State police said when asked by acquaintances what was going on, Smith answered, "Nothing really, just killin' people" and "got fired."
