Man Facing Heavy Charges for Metal Thefts at Tolland Business
A man is accused to stealing metal from a Tolland business.

TOLLAND, CT — A Coventry man has been charged with six counts of larceny for allegedly taking aluminum and steel from a Tolland business, according to an arrest report.
David Montroy, 34, was arrested on Tuesday, state police said. He was charged with four counts of third-degree larceny and two counts of fourth-degree larceny, according to an arrest report. He posted a $7,500 bond and has a June 12 court date, records show.
The case dates back to Sept. 2017. According to a warrant, Montrol worked at Nessteel Inc. in Tolland. He is accused of scrapping thousands of pounds of metal worth thousands of dollars over various trips to scrap yards, according to a warrant.
