Mask Recommendation Back In Place At Tolland Municipal Buildings

Tolland officials are recommending that visitors to public buildings wear masks again.

TOLLAND, CT — Face masks to protect agains the coronavirus are back to being "strongly recommended" in Tolland's municipal buildings.

The policy will officially be in place starting the week of Aug. 9. The suggestion applies to "all persons, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status."

Masks will be required for unvaccinated people and children, officials said.

Local officials also said visitors can "feel free to observe social distance guidelines of 6 feet or more."

Those feeling "unwell," should not enter town buildings," and those inside should limit their time to "essential town business matters," officials said.
