Massachusetts Resident Charged In Unregistered Home Improvement Case In Tolland: Warrant
A consumer protection case over a home improvement "contract" in Tolland is ongoing.
TOLLAND, CT ā A Massachusetts man posing as a legitimate contractor in Connecticut is facing a criminal charge over a "contract" in Tolland, state police said.
A warrant was served on Friday to Yosef Abergel, 26, of Wilmington, MA, charging him with making home improvements without a home improvement certification.
He is due in court on March 11, records show.

According to a warrant, a complaint had been filed by a Tolland resident with the state Department of Consumer Protection regarding a $2,424 deposit given to Abergel for a garage door replacement with "American Garage Door."
He is not registered as a contractor in Connecticut, according to a warrant.
