TOLLAND, CT — A public meeting has been slated to discuss contaminated wells in Tolland.

The Tolland Town Council, along with representatives from the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, the state Department of Transportation, the state Department of Public Health, the Eastern Highlands Health District, Tolland well consultant Langan Engineering and Environmental Services and state legislators are expected to attend.

The forum is being set up as an informational presentation and discussion on identified properties in Tolland known to have elevated levels of contamination in their wells. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 25. The meeting will have Hybrid and in-person options with the latter be in Council Chambers of the Hicks Municipal Center.
