Mercedes Wrecks Yard in Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — An Old Stafford Road yard was damaged when a Mercedes Benz veered into it Friday, state police said.

A Mercedes C350 with a 30-year-old Hartford resident behind the wheel was traveling northbound on Old Stafford Road when it stumbled off the road and bounced off a guardrail, according to a crash report.

The car continued into a yard and took out several trees before hitting a rock wall, according to a crash report.

The driver was taken was taken to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center with minor injuries, state police said.
