Music on the Green - A Concert Series in Tolland

Don’t miss the Music on the Green’s final concert of the 2014-2015 season to be held on Sunday, May 17th. The concert featuring The Harmonious Brass Choir will take place at The United Congregational Church of Tolland at 3:00 PM.

This brass choir is a community music ensemble celebrating its second quarter-century of music making. Coming from all walks of life, the members share a love of playing music of all styles and creating the unique and thrilling sounds that only a choir of brass instruments can produce. They can play music of all styles and from all periods of history. Several members of the choir have written or arranged works for the ensemble. New music is always being sought. Membership in the choir has been maintained at 30-40 musicians.

Music on the Green is currently in its third successful season. Four concerts are presented yearly in a variety of musical media. All have drawn impressive audiences from the Quiet Corner of Connecticut and beyond.

The church located at 45 Tolland Green is handicap accessible for your convenience. Admission to this concert is $10 at the door with children under 12 years of age free of charge. Please plan to attend a reception immediately following the performance where you will have an opportunity to personally meet the musicians.
