Music on the Green - Presenting Rural Legend
A four member band that plays a wide variety of traditional and popular music
Come and join us for the next performance sponsored by the Music on the Green featuring Rural Legend on Sunday, March 6, 2016 beginning at 3:00 PM at the United Congregational Church of Tolland (UCCT) located at 45 Tolland Green.
Rural Legend is a four-musician band which plays and sings a wide variety of traditional and popular music from the era of sea shanties right up to the present day. You'll hear Irish ballads, rebel songs, Beatles tunes, James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, Dylan, and many other styles and songsmiths represented in their performances. Each tune is transformed by their unique blend of drums, guitar, cello, and vocal harmonies (with an occasional bass or harmonica added just for fun).
Music on the Green is currently in its fourth successful season. Four concerts are presented yearly in a variety of musical media. All have drawn impressive audiences from the Quiet Corner of Connecticut and beyond.

The church is handicap accessible for your convenience. Admission to this concert is $10 at the door with children under 12 years of age free of charge.
