National Art Exhibit coming to Vernon Community Arts Center

Academic Artists Association's 65th Annual National Exhibition

The prestigious Academic Artists Association’s 65th Annual National Exhibition will be on view at the Vernon Community Arts Center from May 3rd – May 22nd.

The Academic Artists Association (AAA) promotes the study and appreciation of traditional realism. This juried exhibit features original oil paintings, water colors, graphite and pencil drawings, pastels, and sculptures. Many of the artists are well known regionally and nationally for their award winning artwork, and have been featured in major art publications. Most of the work is for sale.

The galleries will be open Wednesday through Sunday each week, from 1:00-5:00 PM.

There will be an Opening Reception on Sunday, May 3rd from 1:00-4:00 PM. Come meet the artists, AAA Council Members, and community leaders. The VCAC’s gift shop, an artists’ cooperative featuring unique one-of-a-kind items, will be open during the reception.
