New Year's Eve Patrol Catches Driver Going 106 MPH In Tolland
A highway holiday patrol snagged a high speed driver on I-84.

TOLLAND, CT β State police snagged a drive doing better than than 100 miles per hour on a while on a New Year's Eve patrol along Interstate 84 in Tolland, an arrest report indicates.
At 6:21 p.m., state police were conducting a speed enforcement detail on the westbound side of I-84 near Exit 69 and clocked a gray Honda Prius traveling at 106 MPH in the left lane.
State police quickly caught up the car and determined that the license of the 28-year-old driver had been suspended out of Massachusetts, according to an arrest report.

He was charged with reckless driving and driving while under suspension and is due in court on Jan. 8, according to an arrest report.
