'No Mowing' Sign Mowed Down On I-84 In Tolland
An old car plowed over a new sign on a stretch of highway in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — A car from a brand that's been out of circulation for a dozen years plowed over a state Department of Transportation sign on a stretch of Interstate 84 in Tolland, state police said.
A 1995 Saturn SC1 failed to run rings around a DOT sign and plowed it over at 3:27 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day.
The Saturn was being driven by a 24-year-old Bridgeport man and was east on I-84, just about a mile before Exit 68, according to a state police report. The car veered off the road and mowed down a DOT sign that read, "No mowing area," according to a sate police crash report.
