TOLLAND, CT — A tirade at the Tolland Recreation Center has cost a local woman 37 criminal charges, state police said.

The incident took place on March 7 and the woman, a 28-year-old Tolland resident, was served a warrant last week.

That day, a woman walked into the recreation center and disrupted the CREW After- School program, which was put on lockdown "for safety reasons," according to a warrant.

The woman hurled expletives at both children and staff members and then left the premises, according to a warrant.

She was charged with 16 counts of risk of injury to a child and 21 counts of second-degree breach of peace.
