Overstuffed Pickup Truck Slams Into Tree In Tolland
The load in the rear of a pickup truck and trailer caused a serious crash in Tolland, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT β An overloaded pickup truck wobbled into a tree in Tolland last week, state police said.
The crash took place at 4:15 p.m. on June 14 on Crystal Lake Road, state police said.
According to a sate police crash report, a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 was headed south on Crystal Lake Road. As it approached the Browns Bridge Road intersection, the rear driver's side tire blew out because of excess weight in both the truck and trailer it was pulling, according to a crash report.

The truck veered off the road and stuck a tree, according to a crash report.
The driver, a 27-year-old Tolland man, was unhurt, state police said.
