Pedestrian Hit On Route 195 In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A pedestrian was hit along state Route 195 in Tolland late Saturday night.

State police said a 53-year-old Vernon man was walking south on Route 195 at 11:42 p.m. He was hit in the left elbow by a passing 2015 Honda CRV being driven by a 55-year-old Coventry man, state police said.

Police did not fault anyone in a crash report because of "contradicting statements." The the extent of the pedestrian's injuries was not disclosed in a crash report.
