Pedestrian Struck, Injured In Tolland Hit-And-Run Crash, State Police Say
A pedestrian walking with a snowblower on the road's shoulder when he was struck by a vehicle, according to state police.
TOLLAND, CT — A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Tolland, according to state police.
The accident occurred in the area of 175 Mile Hill Road. A vehicle was traveling northbound and hit a pedestrian who was walking with a snowblower in the opposite direction on the shoulder of the road.
The vehicle then fled the scene of the crash, according to state police.

The pedestrian was taken to Hartford Hospital with suspected non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white sedan of an unknown make and model that likely has front passenger-side bumper damage near the wheel well and is possibly missing a portion of the bumper.

State police believe the vehicle continued north toward Vernon.
The investigation is ongoing.
