Pickaxe-Wielding Neighbor Facing Charges In Tolland: State Police
A man went at his neighbor with a pickaxe over the weekend in Tolland, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT β A man who was wielding a pickaxe during a neighbor dispute over the weekend in Tolland is facing a pair of criminal charges.
The incident took place at about 1:20 p.m.Saturday, state police said. Dispatchers at the Troop C barracks received a call from a resident of Old Post Road saying a man was going after his neighbor with a pickaxe and threatening him.
Both lived in close proximity to each other, records show. An arrest report does not outline what triggered the neighbor dispute.

The man with the pickaxe, who is 34 (the other is 64), was taken into custody and charged with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct, according to an arrest report.
