Pickup Truck Hits School Bus In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A school bus carrying students to Tolland MIddle School was involved in an accident on Mile Hill Road Friday morning, fifre department officials said.

A pickup truck hit the bus from behind, but no one was hurt, fire officials said.

One lane was closed for about anb hour and a backup bus was sent to retrieve the children, school officials said in a note to parents.

The children arrived to school shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to the note.
