TOLLAND, CT β€” A 29-year-old Tolland man was charged with drunken driving after his pickup truck hit a tree over the weekend on Rhodes Road, state police said.

According to a state police crash report, at 1:27 a.m. Saturday, a 2018 GMC Canyon was heading east on Rhodes Road, abut a half-mile south of Anthony Road. The truck ran off the road on a curve and hit a tree and spun around 180 degrees, according to a crash report.

The driver failed a sobriety tests and was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane. He was not hurt, according to a crash report.
