Picture Tolland: Firefighters On The Cutting Edge

TOLLAND, CT — The latest installment of the Picture Tolland series brings us back to 1970.

Tolland firemen participated a rescue drill with the Eagleville Fire Department and the Tolland Volunteer Ambulance Association during November of that year.

Retired Chief Ron Littell Sr. is shown operating a K12 rotary saw.

The Tolland Firemen in the black coats are Richard Dwire and Roland "Guy" Pellerin. Chief Raymond Gergler from Eagleville Fire Department is shown on the far left.
