Picture Tolland: It was Only A Drill ... Yeah, Right

TOLLAND, CT — The latest installment of the picture Tolland series comes with a preface that "it was only a drill," but is sure was realistic.

Pictured is a barn the Tolland Fire Department burned down for a training exercise on Browns Bridge Road. Fire department officials do not have an exact date of the exercise, but they believe it took place in 1985 or 1986.
