TOLLAND, CT — The latest installment of the Picture Tolland Series takes us to the extreme northwest corner of town and that little local stretch of state Route 140 running through Tolland.

It seems to take less than 10 seconds to drive through Tolland on Route 14o, but just to the east of the road sits a stream that empties out of Lake Bonair.

The lake is a reservoir known for its quiet fishing spots. It's in the Kimball Forest corridor.
