TOLLAND, CT — In the latest installment of the Picture Tolland series, we head back to 1982 and responders doing some school outreach more than four decades ago this week.

It was May 25, 1982 and Tolland Fire Chief Ron Littell Sr and Resident State Trooper Dan Stebbins were handing out public safety coloring books to children at what was then Meadow Brook School.

It was later known as Parker Memorial School and now the rec center.
