Picture Tolland: River Was Raging Early In The Week

TOLLAND, CT — The latest edition of the Picture Tolland series takes us to the banks of the Willimantic River at Heron Cove Park in Tolland.

With all the rain that hit the region early in the week, the waters were raging Monday through the area of the park that serves as a canoe and kayak launch.

It was a far cry from most of the summer, when dry conditions drastically lowered the water levels.
