TOLLAND, CT — A drug task force working out of the state police Troop C barracks snagged a sizable stash after a Thursday evening traffic stop, a report indicates.
At 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, members of Troop C Narcotic Enforcement Team were conducting a "criminal and motor vehicle enforcement" detail on Interstate-84 and troopers observed a vehicle with an improperly displayed New Jersey temporary registration plate traveling eastbound, and conducted a motor vehicle stop near Union, according to a report.
Upon speaking with the operator, troopers suspected there were drugs in the vehicle and the operator and passenger gave them a search consent, a report indicates.

As the passenger, 23-year-old Cindy Feliz of The Bronx, NY, handed her purse to troopers, they observed cocaine in her palm that she was attempting to hide, according to a report.
Troopers seized the cocaine and took her into custody, according to a report. A further search uncovered more than 90 Xanax prescription pills, 16 Oxycodone pills, approximately 5 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MDMA or "Molly" and 50 grams of marijuana, according to a report.
