Plow, UPS Truck Collide on I-84

TOLLAND/WILLNGTON, – A plow truck preparing a stretch of highway for last week's snowstorm with another plow was hit by a UPS tandem trailer truck trying to pass it in the left-hand lane, state police said.

The Incident took place on I-84 westbound at 2:31 a.m., according to a report.

The plow was in the center lane with its plow and wings raised. Another plow was in the right-hand lane in a similar position, according to a crash report.

Both were treating the roadway, according to a crash report.

The UPS truck shifted to the left-hand lane and the rear trailer hit the plow in the center lane, according to a report.

No one was injured and both vehicles driven from the scene, sate police said.
