Popular Farm Store In Tolland Finally Gets Chance To Open
It's better late than never for Johnny Appleseeds Farm Store in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — The delayed opening of a popular farm store on Route 30 in Tolland has finally happened.
The Johnny Appleseed's Farm Store is open near the Tolland-Vernon line. It recently joined the main store in West Road in Ellington, which opened on July 23.
Summer hours for both locations are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily everyday, according to social media posts.

Selections of native fruits and vegetables include sweet corn and blueberries and peaches. The staff has also been making cider doughnuts.
One customer seemed happy about the corn.

"I went there yesterday and bought bi- colored corn. OMG it's so good," the customer said on the Johnny's Facebook page.
The explanation for the delay?
"We know it's been a long time, but Mother Nature decides when we are ready to open," the owners said. "Thanks for being patient."
