Public Meeting Thursday on Tolland-Coventry Water Pipeline Project
Connecticut Water is conducting an information session at the Storrs Community Church.
Connecticut Water is holding a public information meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20, to discuss the next segments of the water pipeline project on Route 195 in Tolland and Coventry.
The public information meeting will be at the Storrs Community Church at 90 Tolland Turnpike in Coventry at 7 p.m. Representatives of Connecticut Water and the construction contractor will review project plans and answer construction related questions. There will also be an opportunity for people to sign up for emails and text alerts on project related information and traffic updates from Connecticut Water.
The next segments of the project include installing 9,700 feet of water main from the railroad bridge near Route 32 to Anthony Road in Tolland. Work hours will be 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and will be adjusted as needed to accommodate special events and traffic flows.
