Reading Therapy Dogs Help Readers at Tolland Public Library

Sign your beginning reader up for time with a dog this November!

Reading therapy dogs Vinny and Dolly will be back at Tolland Public Library this November:

Dolly and her owner Julie will be available to assist young readers on Thursday, November 3rd, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., and Vinny and his handler Michelle will be here on Wednesday, November 16th, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Both dogs are registered and trained reading therapy dogs; reluctant and beginning readers may practice their read-aloud skills by reading to the dogs in a non-judgmental setting. Children may be signed up for a
session with either dog by calling the library at 860-871-3620 or contacting the children's librarian at: vbrousseau@tolland.org. For grades K and up.
