Scattered Debris Wreaks Havoc On Highway In Tolland
The after effects of a crash caused other problems on a stretch of highway in Tolland, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT β Debris that spilled out of a trailer wreaked havoc on a stretch of Interstate 84 in Tolland last week, state police said.
The incident took place at about 3:56 p.m. on March 14, according to a crash report.
A 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck being driven by a 51-year-old man from Washington State and pulling an enclosed trailer was heading west, about a mile before Exit 67, when it lost control on a slushy stretch of pavement, according to a crash report.

It hit an embankment on the right side of the highway and it led to debris littering the road, according to a crash report.
Several car ran over the debris and it resulted in several flat tires, state police said.

The pickup truck driver had a minor injury but refused transport to an area hospital, state police said. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
