TOLLAND, CT — For the second time in a week, a raging structure fire broke out in Tolland.

The latest was Tuesday night on Grant Hill Road. Images from the scene showed a building completely engulfed in flames and firefighters contending with frigid and snowy conditions.

The incident is under investigation by the Tolland Fire Marshal.

No serious injuries were reported by fire officials.

A similar situation broke out on the night of Jan. 27 when firefighters encountered a home on Bonair Hill Road completely engulfed in flames.

Tolland Fire chief John Littell said crews had to contend with frozen hoses in frigid, below-zero temperatures.

Several family members were able to safely get out of the house and found shelter at an nearby neighbor's house. One man was outside the home, on the property, in "serious medical distress," was transported via ambulance to Hartford HealthCare's Rockville hospital campus. That incident proved to be fatal.

Officials are also investigating the scene of that fire.
