Section Of Road In Tolland Will Be Closed For Tree Removal

TOLLAND, CT — A section of road in Tolland will be closed to traffic Wednesday while an arborist crew removes a large tree that is threatening the right of way.

The town has hired a contractor to take care of a tree on Johnson Road near the intersection of Sugar Hill Road.

To accommodate large equipment, it will be necessary to close Johnson Road to through traffic, town officials said.

Tolland Department of Public Works crews will be on site to assist residents of Johnson Road through the area.
