Last week the TYG Wizards staged a protest at the Youth Garden over their exclusion from plans for a Fairy Garden and Festival. They blamed the Fairies for leaving them out of the fun.
In an astonishing maneuver, Fairy Queen, Grow Well, sent a message by way of magic snow crystals to Chief Wizard, Good Soil. The crystals revealed that it was Poison Ivy, the most wicked practitioner of dark magic in the woods around the TYG, who cast a spell that destroyed the Fairies invitation to the Wizards to be part of the new adventures.
Poison Ivy, Grow Well believes, is angry because the laughter of children in the Youth Garden is destroying its habitat. The evil Ivy is jealous of the colorful flowers, herbs and vegetables that are growing where it used to spread its itchy, oozy, oil. Ivy thought it could keep the garden from growing by starting a feud between the Fairies and Wizards. It grossly underestimated the power of Garden Growing Magic. The Wizards and Fairies joined forces to create a powerful spell that will banish Poison Ivy from the Youth garden.

Now that Poison Ivy is banished, Fairies and Wizards are working on plans for a magical Fairy & Wizards Festival to be held on Saturday, June 7, 2 pm – 4 pm. Bring your whole family. The fee is $5 for individuals ($10 family cap) We’ll begin at Crandall Pavilion with storytelling, face painting, and crafts before journeying through the enchanted forest to the Youth Garden where you can learn how to build your own magical house from natural materials gathered nearby.
