Social Skills Groups for Children & Adolecents
Tolland County Pediatrics is now offering Social Anxiety, Self-Confidence, Impulse Control, and Anger Management Social Skills groups
Tolland County Pediatrics is now forming social skills groups for pre-k to adolescent children. Groups will be formed according to age, developmental need, and behavioral concern. Groups are led by a behavioral analyst and will be conducted in a secure, and small environment. Groups we are currently offering include:
Social anxiety and self-esteem groups for adolescent and teenage girls.
-Topics to be discussed will include confidence and self esteem, peer pressure, decision making, conflict resolution, appropriate forms of self expressions, bullying, divorce, starting new schools or experiences, and exposure to drugs and alcohol.
Social Skills Groups for Pre-K to K, elementary, and adolescent boys and girls
-Topics to be discussed will include self control, impulse control, following parent directions, understanding consequences, conflict resolution, problem solving, confidence and self esteem, peer pressure, anxiety, decision making, conflict resolution, perspective taking, understanding other's actions, conversation skills, and sportsmanship
