Sponsors honored by Town Council

     TOLLAND - The Town Council on Tuesday honored two major sponsors of the Tolland 300th Anniversary celebration: Savings Institute Bank and Trust and Wildflowers of Tolland.
     Savings Institute has pledged $5,000 toward the celebration in 2015, making it a Settlers Rock-level donor. Celeste Senechal, chairwoman of the 300th committee, and Kathy Bach, president of the Tolland Historical Society, joined the council in thanking Tolland branch manager Daisy Paulhus, marketing coordinator Evan McMunn and senior vice president Mark Alliod.
     Kathy, Celeste and the council also honored Heather Mathiau, Wildflowers' owner, for her $1,500 in-kind donation, which makes the floral shop a Crandall-level donor.
