St. John's Concert, Entwyned Early Music

On Sunday, November 2nd at 3:00 p.m. St. John's Episcopal Church in Vernon, CT will present the seventh in its series of concerts.

Entwyned Early Music features lutes, voice, Baroque flute and viola da gamba, played on reproduction historical instruments. Three professionally trained musicians, Dee Hansen, Neal Humphreys, and Eric Hansen, perform music of great early composers 1600-1750 including Bach, Handel, Telemann, Dowland, and Johnson. The performers share with their audiences the historical, social, and aesthetic contexts of the music and information about their instruments.

Free will donations will be gratefully accepted at the door: $15 General, $10 Seniors, $5 Students.
