'Stage 6' Detour In Effect Near Tolland Green

TOLLAND, CT — What Tolland officials are calling the "stage 6 detour" was implemented on Wednesday along the Route 195-Route 74 construction zone.

Here is an overview:

• Route 74 is closed at Route 195 and at the intersection of Old Post Road (bottom of the hill).
• Tolland Green (Carriage Road) is closed to traffic at the ends abutting Route 74.
• Intersection signals are back to functioning on red/green cycles via a 360 degree camera.
• Pedestrian push buttons and signals are operational at the Route 195/Old Post intersection.
• Route 195 is now a through road, in the area of the intersection with Route 74 and stop signs are being taken down.
