"Investments like these are critical for our communities, especially public safety, which continues to be a top priority for me," Nuccio said. "Funding for these projects will help our firefighters, while the agriculture grant will help showcase the great farms and businesses we have right here in the 53rd District. I'd like to thank the Bond Commission and the Department of Agriculture for their continued commitment to Vernon and Tolland."
Added State Sen. Jeff Gordon, "For our public safety professionals in Tolland some of the most critical elements to their service is the quality of their working conditions and equipment. This funding enables Tolland Fire to improve its building for the benefit of the men and women who call it their home base as they deploy to emergencies in a moment's notice."
